Natural Remedies Dark Under Eye Circles
Dark circles under the eyes can cause you to look older, tired and unseemly at times. The darkness of the circles is what many people tend to remember about your face, rather than your other, more attractive features. Although most of us use cosmetics to cover up dark circles, here are some natural remedies that can be used to help reduce the appearance of under eye circles.
- Get 8 hours of sleep every night.
- Drink 8 – 10 glasses of water per day.
- Include a lot of fresh fruits and vegetables in your diet.
- Exercise often.
- Use a cotton ball to apply rose water to your under eye area.
- Put cucumber slices over your eyes for 15 – 20 minutes.
- Avoid leaving undereye cream on the skin around your eyes for a period longer than 10 minutes.
- Crush fresh mint and apply it to under eye circles for 15 – 20 minutes daily for 3 weeks.
- Put cold green tea bags on your eyes for 15 – 20 minutes per day.
- Use cotton balls to apply almond oil to your under eye area before going to sleep at night.
- Mix tomato and lemon juice and use cotton balls to apply the mixture to your under eye area twice daily.
We included diet and exercise on the list because the healthier your body is, the fewer toxins are present and the fewer health problems you have. Eating plenty of fruits and vegetables, especially ones that are rich in vitamin E, is a great way to energize your skin and keep you feeling clean.
