How To Cover Acne

Covering up acne is a process that many people have to go through at some point in their lives. After all, we all want to put our best foot forward and nobody wants to walk around with a big red bump on their face. So to help you out, we’re going to tell you how to cover up acne.

You’ll need the following make up to cover acne:

  • Oil Free Concealer
  • Oil Free Foundation
  • Oil Free Powder
  • Cotton balls or a disposable facial sponge

Now here’s how to cover up acne with makeup.

  • Start by washing your face so that it’s clean.
  • Using your ring finger dab a thin layer of the concealer on to the area(s) that you want to cover. Using light circular motions, blend the concealer so that it blends evenly with your skin tone. If you need more concealer, use some cotton that you will immediately dispose of after use so that you don’t spread the bacteria. Be sure to add a small amount of concealer at a time so that it doesn’t get cakey.
  • Dab a little oil free foundation over the concealer and use the cotton balls or facial sponge to blend it well. Again, use a light circular motion and if you need more foundation, use a cotton ball to add it and then throw the cotton ball away so that you don’t contaminate the rest of your makeup.
  • Brush on some oil free powder to get rid of any excess shine.

When selecting the makeup (that’s skin care products for you guys out there) be sure to select quality products that match your skin tone as much as possible. Badly applied makeup looks just as bad as actually having acne so make sure to take your time when doing these steps and really blending the makeup so that it matches your skin tone.
