You wear makeup all the time because it makes you feel better about yourself. However, there’s one day that’s more important than any other when it’s important for you to have your best face on- your wedding day. Let’s face it, most girls dream about their big day. They fantasize about everything from the person that they’re going to marry to the dress to the cake. It’s not until you really start planning a wedding though that you start thinking about your makeup. Getting jittery? Don’t worry here are some wedding day makeup tips to help you out.

• The flash from the photographer’s camera tends to make brides look washed out so you’re going to have to wear a little more makeup than usual. You should also select some colors are darker than you would normally wear. While this may turn the natural brides off, well let’s put it this way- you’re pictures will look great!
• This is the one time that it’s essential to wear foundation on your skin. Not only so you want to be sure that your skin is even, you also have to remember about the bright camera flash we just mentioned above.
• If you have dark under eye circles don’t forget to use a concealer.
• Use a powder concealer to set your foundation. A powder will help your makeup look fresher longer and will allow your skin to breathe – which is especially great when you think of all of that dancing you’re going to be doing.
• Be sure to apply some primer and powder to your eye lids to conceal creases and make your eye shadow stay on longer.
• It’s your big day and no one will blame you for shedding a few tears. Use a waterproof eye liner and mascara to ensure that you’re makeup doesn’t run and cause you to look like a raccoon.
• Use a lip liner before applying the lipstick because so that the color doesn’t  bleed and to get your lipstick to stay on longer. On a side note, one of the best bridal makeup tips that I ever got was to give my lipstick/ lip gloss to someone in the wedding party to hold for me. This way I can reapply it whenever I needed to without running to my makeup bag.
• Finally use a over your eyebrows to make them really stand out.
