A Look At Style and Beauty At The 2011 Oscars

We love the looks that were being shown off at the Oscars this year! The ladies did a great job in displaying some soft, artistic gowns that were inspired by the late 1800s and possibly even the movie ‘The Black Swan’. However, since this is a beauty school blog, we’re going to focus on our 3 absolute favorite hair and beauty looks.

Mila Kunis implemented several beauty trends perfectly! She showed off smokey eyes, mauve lips, long bangs and an elegant updo hairstyle.

Cate Blanchet looked amazing in a layered bob hairstyle and soft neutral makeup. She did a wonderful job selecting the right colors to not overpower her beautiful skin.

Reese Witherspoon sports a great ponytail with volume and body. Again, we’re seeing the mauve lips and smokey eyes here so take the hint ladies- you can wear this combination of eye and lip makeup whether you’re a blond or a brunette.
