Where To Apply Bronzer
Using bronzer is a great way to bring out the best of your features while masking your less desirable ones so that they don’t look as large or misshaped. It’s also a great way to bring out the best of your coloring and give you a sun kissed glow. However, all of this will be lost if you don’t know how to apply bronzer. Here are some tips to help you out.
- As with any makeup application make sure that your skin is clean before you being applying any makeup. You don’t want old makeup on your skin because it can look cakey and you don’t want to needlessly waste makeup either.
- Before applying bronzer to your face you should apply your foundation and concealer (if you use them) as well as your moisturizer. Once all of this is done, give yourself a minute to make sure that your skin as dried and no longer moist so that you can begin applying the bronzer.
- If you plan to use a powder bronzer then get a large makeup brush that will allow you to sweep on the powder in soft strokes. After you’ve applied the bronzer onto the brush tap it on the side of the sink or the back of your hand to remove any loose powder.
- If you prefer a cream bronzer then use a makeup sponge to and resist the temptation to use your fingers because you can infect your makeup with germs.
- Now it’s time pay attention to where to apply bronzer so that you look like the beautiful glam goddess that you are instead of a clown. Using circular strokes, apply the bronzer to your cheekbones and under eye area as well as your nose and chin. Basically you want to stay within your T zone.
- If you want to reshape your jawline because you feel that it’s too heavy you can apply bronzer on that area as well.
- Last but not least, you can also apply some bronzer to your hairline and then without adding more powder to your brush or cream to your sponge sweep over your neck area to blend the colors of your neck and face together for a more natural look.
- Don’t apply too much bronzer at once. Use a light touch to apply a first coat and if necessary you can add more later.
Many women find that they don’t need to apply blush after using bronzer but it’s totally up to you as to whether or not you want to use it. Good luck!
